Synopsis:

Off-beat Spanish sci-fi thriller. At New Year's Eve in the year 2011, an old lady is brutally dismembered by a killer witnesses claim was dressed as a nun. Arribas (Roberto Alvarez), a rumpled, one-eyed detective, is called on to solve the case. In the course of his investigations, Arribas comes across rogue surgeon Dr Werner, who tells him of a hideously ugly woman that his surgical skills transformed into a rare beauty. As Arribas becomes more obsessed with this mysterious beautiful woman, he learns of her outrageous plans to sabotage the Miss Spain Beauty Pageant.

Lt. Arribas, a one-eyed toothless detective, is called in to investigate the brutal attack and dismemberment of an old lady. His investigations lead him to the mysterious Doctor Werner, who tells him about how he transformed the ugliest woman in the world to the most beautiful.Lt. Lola Otero, born the ugliest woman in the world, has faced rejection all her life. When scientist Dr. Werner transforms her into the most beautiful woman in the world, she takes revenge on society, killing off all the former Miss Spain winners. As the police close in on Lola, Captain Ribas begins to fall in love with her.
