Synopsis:
Two sailors, on shore leave, are caught up in a diamond smuggling racket. More complications ensue for black sailor Johnny who finds love and heartache in London docklands.

When their ship docks the crew disembark as usual to pick up their lives in postwar London. For one of them his petty smuggling turns more serious when he finds himself caught up with a robbery in the City.

Two seamen, just off a ship, are involved in transmitting a package with the proceeds of a robbery. The smuggler manages to clear the innocent one of blame and surrenders to the police.
