Synopsis:

Lobster fisherman David decides to move to London in search of fame and fortune. Lodging in an all-female boarding house, he finds himself with a rather enviable problem: all the girls fancy him. The bashful David is initially reticent, but soon lands himself a role in a sex film - and after enjoying a series of erotic adventures, returns to his home village older, wiser, and a little more experienced! With a screenplay by Joe McGrath (Morecambe and Wise - Night Train to Murder) and - behind the alias 'Roy Nicholas' - veteran TV writer and presenter Dennis Norden, Secrets of a Door-to-Door Salesman is a riotous romp from the classic age of the British sex comedy that combines nudity, frolics and farce in equal measure.

Sex comedy: Lobster fisherman David decides to seek his fortune in London where he finds lodging in a boarding house for girls. All the girls fancy him but he evades most of their efforts. He accepts to play in a sex film but he is not up to standard. After an unsuccessful attempt at being a salesman he returns to his native land.
