Synopsis:

A charming and well-recognized university professor in his 40s finds that he is popular with the ladies. A fierce individualist, he often represses his own feelings and sacrifices those of others. Sometimes his actions are rather extreme such as when he ended his relationship with Silvia for no logical reason. However, destiny overturns the rules safeguarding his private life. It turns out a note found in the pocket of a deceased young male student in Turin contains the professor's number and address. This revelation ends up turning his life inside out.

An aloof university professor, with an attitude of intellectual superiority to others, finds himself embroiled in a potential suicide/murder when a piece of paper with his name and telephone number on it is found in the pocket of a suicide victim, one of his best students.
