Synopsis:
During Korea's Chosun dynasty, two wandering minstrels acrobatic Jang sang and drag actor Gong gil find they have a smash hit on their hands with their raucous mockery of their hen pecked king. But when the palace hears of their satire, they are sentenced to execution unless they can make the king laugh. And laugh he does but palace intrigue, the King's jealous concubine and his obsessive fascination with Gong gil threaten to bring them all down.
