Synopsis:

A For Andromeda (1961)
A For Andromeda sees the construction of an alien designed computer by scientist John Fleming (Peter Halliday). Once built, however, the computer secretly kills one of the lab assistants Christine (Julie Christie), then gives detailed instructions for a new biological organism to be created, which quickly develops into a fully grown woman, almost identical to Christine, now known as Andromeda. Fleming becomes convinced the computer is intent on world domination and must be destroyed but both the British Government and the computer have other ideas....

The Andromeda Breakthrough (1962)
The Andromeda Breakthrough following on from "A For Andromeda" Fleming and Andromeda are recaptured by the British government but then kidnapped along with Professor Dawnay by the forces of Intel, headed by Kaufman and the evil Gamboule, and are taken to the Middle East country Azaran, whose leaders hope to make use of Fleming & Dawnay's skills... and Andromeda's other worldly abilities..
