Synopsis:

Season 9 Episode 1

First of a new two-part crime drama from the pen of Lynda La Plante. A man vanishes while on his honeymoon in London, leaving his wife Susan distraught. Her father contacts Mike Walker, believing the police aren't taking the case seriously, but there's very little evidence to suggest foul play. However, rookie detective Lisa West notices a character on CCTV footage who arouses her suspicions. Starring David Hayman, Victoria Smurfit, David Calder and Sarah Ozeke.

Conclusion to the two-part crime drama. Susan receives a call from the mysterious man, who claims he can take her to her husband. Without telling anyone, she slips out to meet him - and the police face a race against time to find her before tragedy strikes. When the case comes to trial, the jury must decide whether the accused is genuinely insane or simply evil, while Walker and Connor deal with the consequences of their actions.
