Synopsis:
When Trudi learns that her husband Rudi is dangerously ill, she suggests visiting their children in Berlin without telling him the truth. As Franzi and Karl don't care much about their parents, Trudi and Rudi go to the Baltic Sea, where Trudi suddenly dies. Rudi is thrown out of gear, even more when he learns that his wife wanted to live a totally different life in Japan...

Trudi and Rudi Meier Anger live in a small Bavarian village. Only Trudi knows that her husband Rudi is dangerously ill. The doctor suggests a final joint enterprise, something the two have probably done some time, but never did. Trudi decides to keep the disease secret and to follow the advice. She convinces Rudi to visit their children and grandchildren in Berlin. But there arrive, they find them, that their children are busy with their own lives too, in order to take care of the parents.You then decide to which Baltic Sea to drive. There, Trudi dies unexpectedly. Rudi is thrown completely off track and do not know how to proceed. When he was still the friend of his daughter learns that Trudi the life that she really wanted to live, have obviously sacrificed out of love him, he sees his dead wife with new eyes.Rudy tries to make up for lost time Trudi's life. Since Rudy is learning in a park, in the Cherry Blossom is to know a young Japanese woman named Yu, who strikes him, because it hands daily Butoh dances.
