Synopsis:

On 7 November 1893 the anarchist Santiago Salvador threw two bombs into the stalls of the Gran Teatro del Liceo in Barcelona. Although one of them did not explode, the attack killed twenty people and injured scores more. It was a turning point in the history of anarchism in this country. The film director Carles Balagué recalls this black episode in a documentary for the silver screen. La bomba del Liceo is more than just a retelling of what happened that day. Balagué has made it into an exercise in reflection, mixing testimony with scenes from the past and the present. An intelligent exercise that goes beyond facts, more than a century later.
