Synopsis:
The elderly Berthe goes to live with her daughter Emilie after it is determined that she can no longer take care of herself. Unhappy in the family's Toulouse home, Berthe spends much of her time talking to herself, which she finds less exhausting than talking to other people. As Christmas approaches and Berthe's health dwindles, Emilie and her estranged brother Antoine are reunited, drawn together thanks to their mother's impending death.

Old woman Berthe leaves her house to live in her daugter Emilie's one. Emilie and her brother Antoine have fallen out three years ago and have not seen each other since, but Emilie invites him for Christmas. Memories will come up, and will be depicted both Berthe's destiny and the strange relationship between Emilie and Antoine.
