Synopsis:

Geisha, the twilight of the flowers, is a journey to the secret world of geishas of Kyoto, Japan's ancient capital. Filmmaker, Romain Guélat has had the rare privilege of being able to infiltrate this circle, traditionally as closed to western eyes as to their Japanese counterparts. This documentary removes the barriers and allows us a glimpse of the ethics and extreme rigor of this essentially feminine precinct.
