Synopsis:

Tramway No 5 (2007)
The film audience experiences an extraordinary journey as passengers on the legendary tramway no. 5, travelling from Odessa's amusement district and Arcadia Beach to the end of the line at the tram depot. It is a voyage during which the boundary between reality and the dream world magically shifts... Galina Ivanovna (65), daughter of the unforgettable legless actor in Sergei Eisensteins movie 'Battleship Potemkin', plays herself in this film: a strong, creative woman and a passionate collector. She sailed to sea for five years, bringing home from each voyage a trunk filled with souvenirs. With these she has created a magical, maritime storybook world in her tiny one-room apartment. In Arcadia, on the shores of the Black Sea, Galina finds a large seashell. Taking her find with her, she rides the tramway no. 5 to go home. Tired, half-asleep, she suddenly finds herself in a dream world, increasingly populated by the boarding tramway passengers...

Last Call / Dance Macabre (2007)
The different characters of a contemporary dance of death make their way to the airport to start their final journey. A bizarre dance with death takes its course above the clouds.

Sub Rosa (2007)
The submarine seaman Ruslan secretely shows his lover Marina 'Sub Rosa', on which he trained. Involuntarily, Marina sets the submarine in motion and it dives. The two make love for one last time until the air supply is almost exhausted.

A declaration of love to the city of Odessa and its equally extraordinary inhabitants composed by a trilogy of poetic silent movies.
