Synopsis:
Borrowing themes established in Yojimbo and its Italian version A Fistful of Dollars, this action/fantasy film features the exploits of Kain (David Carradine), a drifter/holy-man/martial arts expert who comes upon a village divided into three parts: two clans fighting over control of a water well, and the impoverished masses who suffer at their hands. Since this village is on an imaginary planet with two suns that circle across the sky, water is a premium commodity. Sorceress Naja (Maria Socas) is alternately the captive of either one or the other of the embattled clans and obviously needs to be rescued. Just like Sanjuro, the samurai in Akira Kurosawa's classic film, Kain pits the two clans against each other so his own job of finishing off the bad guys and saving Naja will be less strenuous. The most memorable aspect of this low-budget film is a dancer who is not wearing a double-breasted suit, but should be. Like the two suns and the two clans, she also has two of each.

A powerful warrior named Kain, skilled in the use of many weapons, discovers two worthy opponents while traveling through a small village. There he also encounters a ravishing sorceress. His holy warrior gig now over, Kain roams the earth as a mercenary, selling his unequaled skill at arms to the highest bidder. He'll find plenty of work in the village of Yamatar. The commoners there are exploited or enslaved by a pair of rival warlords named Zeg and Bal Caz, who spend most of their time struggling for control of Yamatar's well, just about the only thing of real value for thousands of square miles. Kain may be just a sword for hire these days, but the old Homerac in him is rankled by what he sees in the village, and just for the hell of it, he decides to bring down both tyrants.

In the spirit of Akira Kurosawa's Yojimbo, welcome to a distant world of exciting battles, exotic women, mystical secrets and evil wizards! Kain (David Carradine) is the last survivor of a mighty warrior tribe. Once an exalted warrior-priest, Kain now wanders the planet Vra as a mercenary sword-for-hire. In the small village of Yam-A-Tar he finds two vicious clans struggling for power. The oppressed people who suffer at their hands, and the piercing, haunting eyes of the stunningly beautiful sorceress Maja (Maria Socas). Kain becomes embroiled in the treachery and battles, the mighty wizardry and rampant debauchery, but always he remembers the eyes of the Sorceress. With her lies his destiny - together, they must forge a new world!
