Synopsis:

Koga Ninjas (Ninp? K?gash?) The story introduced the ninja to the series, as well as Shintar?'s boy companion, Sh?saku. Set in Kai Province (modern Yamanashi Prefecture), it concerns a plot of a society of 13 master K?ga Ninja and their followers to use a lost gold mine of the 16th century warlord Takeda Shingen to further their own ambitions and Shintar?'s efforts to foil them. The enemy are led by K?ga Ry?shir?, a descendant of the founder of the K?ga, and including Genz? the Spider (played by Bin Amatsu, first time in a ninja role), the eventual defector Kurobei and the female ninja Oyo. Also introduced in the series is Sh?saku, a descendant of Takeda's historical general Baba Nobukatsu whose father has been kidnapped by the K?ga Ninja.
