Synopsis:
The love story of a couple who developed their own specific survival strategies. Without a permanent home or steady job, they live in a self-made camp in the woods and simply use the municipal swimming pool, when they need to shower. Always short on cash, they make a living as providers of human services. They satisfy their employers' desires. They give them, what they need or what they lack. When Jakob gets hired by a married couple to take on the role of their deceased son and, along the way, grows apart from Manu, their lifestyle is derailed.

Film follows a young couple who are parasites on the lives of others. The film makers largely leave out explanations. Viewers find themselves in the middle of a thriller-like story without knowing the background of the two, and is also left with questions at the end. In the meantime, a strange life becomes visible. The couple lives in a small camp in the woods, with a tent, sleeping bags and empty wine bottles. Isolated, but also unprotected. The girl visits a lonely old lady, for money. The boy also goes to see a married couple whose son died, for a fee. Both think they aren't doing anything wrong, but their work is not without risks.

Manu and Jakob view themselves as human service providers as they earn their money by fulfilling people's emotional needs. But their relationship becomes derailed when Jakob assumes the role of a family's deceased son and, in so doing, becomes increasingly distanced from Manu.
