Synopsis:

For thousands of men across America, this would be a dream come true - they're robot fetishists who would absolutely love a cyborg sex mate. "One of the things that is preferable about having a robot companion is that robots don't break your heart," explains self-proclaimed fembot enthusiast Delosian. "They don't leave; don't have emotional issues; don't leave you because you don't have enough money or drive the right car." Delosian and his fellow robot lovers are part of a secretive and little understood subculture. But now My Sex Robot will expose these robot fetishists who for the first time talk openly about their passion for fembots. The documentary will also meet inventor Douglas, from NJ, who believes he will make his fortune by catering for these men - providing the cybersex companion of their fantasies, called Roxxxy. "I am firmly convinced there will be a huge demand from people who have a void in their lives because they have no one to love, and no one who loves them," Douglas explains about his invention. "The world will be a much happier place because all those people who are now miserable will suddenly have someone. I think that will be a terrific service to mankind." As well as this, My Sex Robot will also meet the British professor who believes that love and sex between humans and robots will be a reality within ten years!

My Sex Robot follows three robot fetishists in their quest to find a futuristic lover, and the engineers who believe they could make their dreams come true. Robot fetishists are a little understood subculture, but in this film they talk openly about their desire for a mechanical lover: for one who'll give sex on demand, never answers back, and doesn't expect a cuddle.

My Sex Robot takes a look at the bizarre world of three robot fetishists and the inventors vying to bring them the world's first sex robot. Our world is about to change. Academics believe that within 40 years humans will be having sex with robots and even be falling in love with and marrying their android companions.
