Synopsis:

The Gruffalo's Child, another magical tale from best selling author Julia Donaldsonand illustrator Axel Scheffler, will premier on BBC One as a highlight of their Christmas schedule this year.
It's some years later and The Gruffalo now has a daughter. Curious about her father's fantastic stories of a Big Bad Mouse in the deep, dark woods, she sets out one snowy night on a thrilling journey of discovery. Produced by Magic Light Pictures, a half hour animated film from the same team behind the hugely successful The Gruffalo.

Having been warned by her father not to go in search of the Big Bad Mouse, the Gruffalo's child defies him and sets out into the woods. After meeting the fox, owl and snake she discovers that the mouse is, in fact, little and she determines to eat him. However he is resourceful as ever and has a plan to scare her off.

A half hour animated film based on the best-selling children's picture book written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated Axel Scheffler, The Gruffalo's Child tells the delightful tale of a little Gruffalo who ignores her father's warnings and tiptoes out into the snow in search of the Big Bad Mouse.
