Synopsis:

A three-part drama piecing together a complex portrait of Catalonian identity; Ramon Térmens' Catalunya über alles! is a extraordinary melting pot of plots, languages and genres. Getting the ball rolling on debates about identity, morality and citizenship, Térmens does not shy away from tackling the tougher questions. Carefully thought-out and brilliantly executed, the film traverses much of the spectrum of human emotion in just a hundred minutes.

Catalonia above all - with its satirically, nationalistic title, the tone has been set for this three-part film and its exploration of prejudice and anti-immigrant sentiments in one small Catalan town. Using haunting moral questions, dark humor, and unfettered honesty, Director Ramón Térmens sheds a spotlight on the humane and inhumane dichotomy within us all.

An ex-convict, an unemployed immigrant and a successful businessman are the three main characters of this portrayal of inner Catalonia. Three stories showing a conflicting society forced to reinvent itself or collapse.
