relationship with his two children and with life itself is ill-fated. However, by chance he runs into Antonio (Andoni Hernández), a 15-year-old boy from the Canary Islands who is ill with cancer but who has a contagious vitality. From that moment on, Manolo's friendship with him, his mother (Goya Toledo), an amusing fast food deliveryman (Jorge García) and an eccentric nurse (Rosa María Sardá), among others, will be the beginning of a symphony of coincidences that will change his life.

MAKTUB, a film whose title comes from Arabic and means 'what is written,' shows those strange coincidences in which some encounters between people can be healthy and positive, even in difficult life situations.
