Synopsis:

A good private eye goes up against a gang of crooked cops in this action thriller. Alice Jeffries (Anne Jensen) is an American college student who heads down to Mexico for spring break with one of her best friends. However, their vacation turns sour when the young women are arrested on drug charges and taken to jail. David Manning (Christopher Atkins), house detective at the hotel where they were staying, has reason to believe Alice and her friend were set up, and his suspicions are confirmed when he learns that Alice's father is the governor of California. While corrupt police officers have offered to release Alice and keep the matter quiet in exchange for a hefty payment, Manning has another idea -- he assembles a crack team of undercover operatives to break into the jail and free the girls before any harm can come to them at the hands of the dirty cops.

A young college student on spring break with her girlfriend in Mexico is framed and arrested for possession of narcotics in her hotel room. When investigating the arrest, David Manny, head of security at the resort is mystified by the lack of cooperation from the local police officials. His involvement grows when he is approached by his DEA boss and finds out that the young woman in question is none other than Alice Jeffries, the daught of David William Jeffries the Governor of California. To save Alice from a fate worse than death and avoid a devastating scandal, the Governor only has one option, he can not give in to the kidnappers' blackmail attempt, so he unleashes with R.J. Dallas, a group of the most deeply rooted undercover DEA in Mexico to rescue her without the press knowing about operation 'TEQUILA EXPRESS'.
