Synopsis:

Martha seems to lead a charmed life: she likes her work, she loves her friends, and she adores her husband, Paul. But Paul's sudden disappearance illuminates a mysterious secret life, forcing her to question their long history together. Distraught and lost, she seeks solace in a relationship with handsome stranger Alexander, a man who bears a striking resemblance to her now absent husband. Martha hides her grief, pain, and the fact of her bereavement from her new lover-but is it really Alexander that she loves, or has her longing for Paul simply driven her to find him wherever she can? Does it matter? In probing the heart and mind of a woman desperate to hold the shards of her broken life together, director Jan Schomburg has crafted a first feature that raises questions about how well we can ever know those we think we may know best.

The drama, which stars Sandra Huller as a woman who discovers the man she has lived with for years is not who she thought he was, will now receive promotion support from the European Cinemas network to aid its theatrical release across Europe.
