Amazon Trek: In Search of Vanishing Secrets (2007)
Follow a crew of explorers into the wilds of the Amazon as they retrace the path of a 50-year-old search for a missing man. Along the way, they uncover secrets hidden for thousands of years in one of the most mysterious places on earth. This segment in the landmark Jules Verne Adventure Expeditions series reveals a lost civilization, investigates the healing power of medicinal plants and journeys down the world's most powerful river.

Devil's Island: Journey Into Jungle Alcatraz (2001)
Imagine the prison of Alcatraz, only 10 times worse, built on tropical, hellish and deadly islands, lost to the rest of the world. Three tiny castaway islands rise away from the coast of French Guyana, in South America: The Devil's Islands. Now buried under an impenetrable jungle, lay the lost remains of what had been for a hundred years the most storied convict prison in history. There, while most of the prisoners faded into oblivion, a few became legends. Some because they were innocent, as in the scandalous Dreyfus Affair, some because they somehow escaped the islands of nightmare, as did the 'butterfly', Henri Charrière, immortalized by Steve McQueen in Papillon. Now 50 years after the prison doors slammed shut for the last time, we explore what's left of the Devil's Islands' unbelievably dark and oppressive realm. Follow Jean-Christophe Jeauffre and his crew as he reveals the secrets of another lost world. Witness up-close the disintegration of the stone and iron ruins in the grip of the implacable jungle. Legendary actor Christopher Lee 9Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings) tells an amazing journey into what was called the 'Green Hell' and the history of forgotten souls who had found doom there.

Explorers: From the Titanic to the Moon (2006)
From the explorers / filmmakers of Amazon Trek and Whales of Atlantis Join two men on their expeditions to new frontiers, from the Abyss to Outer Space...Explorers takes off from the compelling visions imagined by one of the worlds most widely read novelists, pioneer science-fiction writer Jules Verne, author of 20,000 Leagues under the Sea and From the Earth to the Moon. Discover the unbelievable journeys of two legendary explorers: Buzz Aldrin, who, along with Neil Armstrong, became the first men to set foot on the Moon during the Apollo 11 Mission; and James Cameron, multiple Academy Award winning filmmaker, who since completing his epic movie Titanic, has undertaken the exploration of the oceans mysteries utilizing revolutionary submarines and 3D cameras of his own design. Jean-Jules Verne opens his great-grandfathers novels and sends us on our journey with two men who actualize the fantastic dreams of Jules Verne. James CAMERON and Buzz ALDRIN plunge us into a universe of unforgettable images. Risking their own lives, they pursue their passions by reaching into the Unknown. Set sail with two legendary men on two overwhelming voyages, from the spectacular rediscovery of the Titanic, to the depths of the Abyss, to the odyssey of the first Moon voyage.

The Last Gorillas (2007)
Primatologist Amy Vedder has always had a passion for gorillas. Following in the steps of Dian Fossey, she sets off in the national volcanic park between Zaire and Rwanda in search of an intelligent and sociable primate: the mountain gorilla. Human contact with the gorillas is diffi cult to establish, involving endless patience and a calm disposition. However, once Amy gains the trust of the gorillas, they gladly approach people. Amy's privileged experiences with these magnificent animals help to disprove all of our inherent ideas of gorillas as wild and aggressive beasts. Sadly however, they continue to be victims of poaching and deforestation, leaving only a pitiful 250 mountain gorillas left in the park.

Red and White: Gone with the West (2008)
A journey into the American Wild West, between Past and Present, from Buffalo Bill's last gleaming hopes, to the Native Americans resurrection.

The Secret Life of Hippos (2007)
The secret life of hippos is revealed in this award-winning documentary, which follows divers into the waters of Tanzania's National Reserve. For the first time, cameras capture on film the astonishing underwater habits of these surprising creatures. A rare look at an essential part of hippo life, filmmakers Craig Huxley and Jean-Christophe Jeauffre's captivating documentary earned the Jules Verne Adventure Film Festival Audience Award.

Whales of Atlantis: In Search of Moby Dick (2003)
Dive into the dark waves of the Atlantic to make contact with the Giants of the Sea.

100 Years Under the Sea: Shipwrecks of the Caribbean (2007)
Tag along with filmmaker-explorer Jean-Christophe Jeauffre and his entourage -- a crew that includes Albert Falco, the captain of Jacques Cousteau's Calypso -- as they travel to the site of a notorious volcano that erupted a century ago. Adding to the drama is the fact they they're sailing aboard the three-master ship Belem, the only vessel that survived the 1902 natural disaster that killed 28,000 Caribbean islanders in less than four minutes.
