Synopsis:

Walter Chiari plays Gianni Alberti, a journalist who is sacked for lack of zeal. Thanks to the intervention of his wife, the ambitious Vivia (Jole Fierro), he's taken back by his boss and sent to Palestine. On his wife's advice, he decides to fake a fatal accident so that he can then return home as a hero and miracle man. But things don't turn out as planned… When he tries to stage his death, an odd mishap occurs. Gianni does end up coming back to Italy, but only as a… ghost! In despair, Vivia tries everything to bring her husband back to life.
