Synopsis:

The Pleasure of Being Robbed (2008)
A curious and lost Eleonore looks for something everywhere, even in the bags of strangers who find themselves sadly smiling only well after she's left their lives. They owe her their thanks.

Lenny and the Kids (2009)
After months of being alone, sad, busy, sidetracked, free, lofty, late and away from his kids, Lenny, 34 with graying frazzled hair, picks his kids up from school.

We're Going to the Zoo (2006)
This is a story about a real life brother and sister and their journey to the zoo. On their way, they accidentally pick up a hitchhiker.

The Back of Her Head (2007)
This is a story about him, who lives above an older Hindi man, who lives above a delinquent British guy, who lives on top of her. It is the back of her head that he is in love with.

The Acquaintances of a Lonely John (2008)
This is the story of a lonely man named John. He wanders through the city into various acquaintances of varying levels of niceness.

John's Gone (2010)
John's Gone is a fever dream comedy about John's World soon after his mother passes away.

While trying to move 40 kids six New York City blocks all by himself, a stressed man accidentally loses a bouquet of a hundred balloons.

Lenny and the Kids (2009)
After months of being alone, sad, busy, sidetracked, free, lofty, late and away from his kids, Lenny, 34 with graying frazzled hair, picks his kids up from school. Every year he spends a couple of weeks with his sons Sage, 9, and Frey, 7. Lenny juggles his kids and everything else all within a midtown studio apartment in New York City. He ultimately faces the choice of being their father or their friend all with the idea that these two weeks must last 6 months. In these two weeks, a trip upstate, visitors from strange lands, a mother, a girlfriend, 'magic' blankets, and complete lawlessness seem to take over their lives. The film is a swan song to excuses and responsibilities; to fatherhood and self-created experiences, and to what it's like to be truly torn between being a child and being an adult.

We're Going to the Zoo (2006)

John's Gone (2010)
John's Gone is a fever dream comedy about John's World soon after his mother passes away. He sells things online, cheats off dollar stores, needs friends but settles for strangers, has roaches, and is prematurely thrust into the cruel wasteland that is the world around him. He is surrounded by people who don't speak his language, junk he piles up in his apartment filled with cultural beacons he ignores with idea of a potential sale. He is punch drunk (not with love) but something far more strange and lost. One can only say John's Gone.

The Black Balloon (2012)
While trying to move 40 kids six New York City blocks all by himself, a stressed man accidentally loses a bouquet of a hundred balloons. In that bouquet, a lone black balloon scurries free from the rest. It dies and comes back to life, returning to the city, cruising for a companion. On its beat, it learns that humans are complicated creatures with extreme highs and lows, but full of life nonetheless. A film intended to be for children that turned into a sci-fi urban fable, this is the story of The Black Balloon.
