Synopsis:
The approach is new. The stories are new. And there is a new Saint. Based on the character created by Leslie Charteris, Ian Ogilvy becomes the famous Simon Templar in 'Return of The Saint'. Whilst retaining the characteristics which caught the imagination of viewers with the original 60's television series, this is 'The Saint' of the 70's stories packed with drama, adventure and humour, filmed on location in countries including the South of France, Italy and London. A dashing daredevil, no villain is safe from his wrath, no woman is safe from his charms as The Saint fights injustice, protecting friends and strangers against a background of international intrigue. Roger Moore's Saint was a hard act to follow, but Ian Ogilvy successfully brought Simon Templar up to date with action-packed new stories and location filming that took The Saint out of the studio backlot to the most beautiful cities in Europe plus the original production team that brought the character to television in the 60's. Now, 25 years later, the sign of The Saint has returned as Umbrella Entertainment presents this special collection bringing together all 24 episodes of the ITC series for the first time, complete, uncut and digitally remastered.

Simon Templar is a modern day Robin Hood of sorts. He steals from rich criminals and keeps the loot for himself (usually in such a way as to put the rich criminals behind bars). He's dashing, suave, charming, and he's always one step ahead of the bulldog-like Inspector Claude Eustace Teal. This series chronicles his swashbuckling exploits.
