Synopsis:

Lan Kwai Fong (LKF), a well-known party location in Hong Kong with loads of nightclubs and bars. Everyone likes to go to LKF for fun, one night stands or even true love. LKF has captured the joys and sorrows of many... One night, Steven - a regular of LKF met the flight attendant - Jennifer. They had sex on the first night they met but both could feel love come along. They had another date on New Year's Eve. Unfortunately, misunderstanding tore them apart and Jennifer decided to disappear from LKF. After eight months, Steven meets with Jennifer again and hopes to restart a relationship with her. However, Jennifer is no longer single, she's now his boss, Leslie's girlfriend. At the same time, Steven receives a call that his close friend collapsed and had to be sent to hospital. His friend encouraged him to follow his heart. When he finally decides to tell Jennifer about his feelings, Jennifer is already engaged to Leslie. Steven is heart-broken. He accepts the job promotion to stay at an overseas' branch office. His friends throw him a farewell party. He reunites with Jennifer again at the party. Will the two be together again after everything they've been through in this place with tons of one night stands happening every night?

Lan Kwai Fong is a Hong Kong film directed by Wilson Chin, starring by Yangai Jing, Shen Zhiming, Chen Boyu, Lian Shiya, Zhen Rong and Chen Jing. The topic was considered to be a daring move for Hong Kong cinema at the time. The film takes place in the Lan Kwai Fong square, a place known for its bars, nightclubs, neon lights and luxurious appearance. It is considered one of the more famous areas of the city to foreigners and locals alike at night time. The film explores the lavish lifestyle of a group of young, wealthy youth. The film was deliberately cast with young actors and actresses to have a real feel. The story also looks at nightlife in Lan Kwai Fong, the ubiquity of temptation and the opened notions about love and sex in Hong Kong today, depicting the love stories of three playboys-bar manager Jacky (Jason Chan), wine salesman Steven (Chen Zhiming) and rich Sean Yi (Wang Zongyao), with their romantic interests Jeana (He Peiyu), Jennifer (Shiga Lin) and Cat (Chen Jing).

Lan Kwai Fong is the famous night life centre of Hong Kong. Men and women of the city, no matter their nationalities, flock there nightly looking for fun. On one such night, Steven heads to Lan Kwai Fong where he meets flight attendant Jennifer and the two have a one night stand. The sparks are obvious and the two feel it is true lone so they make a date to meet on New Years Eve in Lan Kwai Fong.
