Synopsis:
The true story of the rise and fall of notorious Melbourne criminal defence lawyer Andrew Fraser. His clients ranged from accused cop killers to the rich and famous including international businessman Alan Bond. His obsession with wealth and materialism was fuelled by the halcyon 1980s. When his social coke consumption spiralled into a $5,000 a week habit, his judgment became unsound and he crossed the line into the criminal milieu. This eventually saw him sentenced to seven years in a maximum security prison for his involvement in a large scale importation of cocaine. Starring David Wenham, Killing Time is a fascinating insight into the brutal upheavals of the Australian justice system when the war between the criminal class and a corrupt police force finally became public.

Killing Time follows the compelling life story of the infamous Australian lawyer, Andrew Fraser. At the top of his game, Fraser commanded a huge salary and lived the dream whilst defending the most controversial criminals that Australia has ever seen. His ethical ambiguity, cocaine addiction and believing bullshit, finally caught up with him and he lost everything. He was disbarred, discredited, financially bankrupt and spent five years in a maximum security prison for drug smuggling. Killing Time is a fascinating insight into the brutal upheavals of the Australian justice system when the war between the criminal class and a corrupt police force finally became public.

The story of disgraced lawyer Andrew Fraser's rise from a small time lawyer to successfully defending the most infamous criminals this country has ever seen, and his ultimate downfall and imprisonment for five years in maximum security.
