Synopsis:

Born an intersexual hermaphrodite, Alex was operated on, growing up in her small Dutch village as an outsize girl. Aged twenty-six she told her story publicly for the first time as a radio show guest, becoming an acitivist in the process. The film documents the following three years in which Alex moved to California, living her life as an intersexual man.
