Synopsis:
Mistral's Daughter (1984)
A three-part miniseries based on Judith Krantz's best seller about the life and loves of French artist Julien Mistral (Stacy Keach). In Part 1, Julien parlays his talent into fame---thanks to a fetching model (Stefanie Powers) and a possessive patron (Lee Remick). Perry Kilkullen: Timothy Dalton. Paula: Stephane Audran. Avigdor: Ian Richardson.

Scruples (1980)
An enjoyably trashy tale of liaisons and power games in the fashion and movie worlds. Adapted from Judith Krantz's novel, it's the story of a spirited, strong-willed woman who romances a count and a jet-setting magnate, and opens a Beverly Hills boutique, Scruples. The eclectic cast includes Gene Tierney (`Laura'), one of the most luminous leading ladies of the 1940s.

Dazzle (1995)
Beautiful successful photographer battles evil half-sisters and evil land developers to keep the family ranch intact, following her father's death. In the midst of all this, she finds love and fulfillment.

Mistral's Daughter (1984)
Beautiful and naïve Maggy Lunel arrives in Paris completely broke. She becomes an artist's model and the toast of Paris, attracting the attention of Picasso-like painter Julien Mistral, an arrogant and selfish man who places his work above everything. Their paths diverge as Mistral's art catches the eye of a rich American woman who becomes his patroness and eventually his wife. During the war years in France, Mistral collaborates with the Nazis in order to continue with his work, a decision that will come back to haunt him years later. In the meantime, Maggy has a daughter named Teddy who grows up and falls in love with Mistral with whom she has a child named Fauve. As Mistral ages, he comes to terms with his selfish past and wartime betrayal through his art, leaving a beautiful legacy for his daughter, Fauve.

Scruples (1980)
The soap-operatic story follows the fortunes of three ambitious youngish people: Billy, secretary and then wife to an older zillionaire, whose death frees Billy to start up a Beverly Hills boutique ('Scruples') and to pursue the pretentious and manly but commercially woebegone film director Vito Orsini. Meanwhile, Valentine, a French would-be fashion designer, and Spider, a parking lot attendant/photographer/stud, struggle up the ladder, become buddies and put off a romance that seems inevitable despite their difference in height. After Valentine and Spider become Billy's employees, they team up to navigate a number of speed bumps on the road to happiness.

Dazzle (1995)
Based on a popular novel by Judith Krantz, this sudsy romantic drama features a prominent photographer who heads to Gay Paree, unaware that greedy family members are plotting to bilk her father out of his valuable ranch land. Love blossoms in the City of Light when she encounters a fellow picture taker.
