Synopsis:

Melina (Karin Viard), 40, is the most famous voice on French radio. During her nightly show, she cheekily and humorously solves her listeners' emotional and sexual issues without the slightest taboo. But, in her everyday life, she is obnoxious and lives a lonely and extremely private existence in a chic Parisian neighbourhood. Melina's adoring listeners are not the only souls with heartache. While looking for a mother she never knew, Melina discovers that she lives with her large family in the suburbs. Deciding to meet her long lost mother, Melina gets in touch with the members of this family, without disclosing her mysterious identity. Karin Viard, the multiple Cesar winning star of hit 'My Piece of the Pie', is brilliant as the complex and phobia-ridden Melina. As she begins to stalk her long lost mother (Nadia Barentin), Melina also gets closer to the handsome Lucas (Nicolas Duvauchelle). Soon Melina finds herself confronting her own social and romantic problems as she is forced to deal with a series of touching and hilarious situations.

40-year-old Mélina is the most famous voice in France. Host of a evening radio programme, she resolves listener's emotional and sexual problems on the air with cheekiness, humor, and frankness. Everyone knows her voice, but no one knows her face. In everyday life, she avoids all contact and lives like a spinster in a chic part of town. She is looking for her mother, whom she's never known.
