Synopsis:

Deep in the corner of West Virginia Coal country, there is a small group of men working for the Cobalt Coal Company. These miners fight to pull a living out of the ground and carve a business from the hills where only the big companies dare to mine. Mike, the businessman, and Tom, the expert miner, run Cobalt Coal. It's a small company with large potential and they are mining where many have failed. 700ft under the mountain, lots of hard work is the only way it is going to pay off. Mike and Tom battle constant mechanical breakdowns and finding quality employees that have the nerve to work on their knees. The stakes are high for their families. If they meet their quotas and deliver their loads on time, the company will survive and these men will have a place to call home. They're fighting for a secure future. If not they'll lose it all.
