Synopsis:

Andrea, the only man in a crowded family with only women (they are seven: mum, three sisters, grandma and her nurse, and even the dog is strictly female) has finally met the woman of his life, Giulia. Since none of his previous girlfriends have ever survived the explosive impact with his intrusive and devastating family, poor Andrea decides that the only way to make this relationship work is to lie and pretend to be an orphan. But the seven family members are ambushing him everywhere and his fraud is soon revealed. This is just the beginning of a long series of comic situations in which the unfortunate Andrea is doing everything to try and save his relationship. To what point is Giulia willing to resist?

Fausto Brizzi, director of 2012 festival hit Love is in the Air, makes a triumphant return this year with yet another hilarious perspective on family, love and relationships. Andrea (Francesco Mandelli) lives as the sole male in a house of seven eccentric and overbearing women. Each female has a dominating characteristic, be it an intense hatred of men, a promiscuous tendency, or simple self-obsession. Their inconsiderate antics are the sole reason that, one by one, Andrea's girlfriends are driven away from him. When Andrea meets the lovely Giulia (Valeria Bilello), he decides to pretend he is an orphan in order to prevent her from ever meeting his family. But his façade does not hold up long, and even though she forgives him the disasters inevitably ensue, putting his relationship with her and all the other women in his life to the test. Andrea is left asking how he can possibly achieve a real relationship with his family as they are - will he be forced to choose between them and a girlfriend? Awkward situations and ridiculous moments collide without respite in this riotous romp of one man battling the formidable women in his life.
