Synopsis:

Chris Strachwitz is a detective of deep American music that's the antithesis of corporate "mouse music" dominating pop culture. Since 1960, his legendary Arhoolie Records has bought Cajun, Tex-M and blues music out of the country and into the living rooms of Middle America. Born a German count, Strachwitz fled his homeland at sixteen, after WWII, to the USA where he discovered and shared, a musical landscape that most Americans missed.
