Synopsis:

Inspired by 'Matando Cabos,' the 2004 Mexican dark comedy about mistaken identity and inept criminals, 'Who Killed Bambi?' centers on David who becomes entangled on the attempted kidnapping of his boss and future father-in-law, Mr. Larrea. Finding Larrea beaten up and unconscious in his office and fearing that the police will in some way connect him to the crime, David tries to dispose of Larrea with the help of his best friend Mudo. Meanwhile, the perpetrators, Edu and Gio, realizing that they got the wrong man, try to find the right one leading to a comedy of errors.

Mr. Larrea, the CEO of the company DAVID works at, also happens to be his girlfriend's father. Although David's only responsibility is to choose the right present for his mother-in-law's birthday, he and his workmate MUDO become entangled in a bizarre situation when they end up having to escort Mr. LARREA home after finding him beaten up and unconscious in his office. They couldn't possibly have imagined that EDU and GIO, co-owners of a local run-down pizza joint, had attempted to kidnap Mr. LARREA as a part of a master plan to solve their financial problems. But the kidnappers´ plan had just one little snag: they accidently got the wrong man, who coincidentally, happens to be EDU's father. DAVID and MUDO have to dispose of LARREA as quickly as possible, so as to avoid appearing to have any connection with the events. Meanwhile, EDU and GIO need to find the right man and correct with the terrible mistake they've made...Thanks to an eccentric lawyer, an annoying cockatoo and the guests at an unexpectedly wild birthday party, things become increasingly more complicated. Their problems have just begun.

The story of a rich man, a group of kidnappers, and two friends and a lawyer who got themselves into a series of unexpected twists and turns to finally answer the question; Who killed Bambi?
