Synopsis:
John Roberts directs this romantic comedy following a pair of sisters who head to Cuba to scatter the ashes of their deceased father. Rosa (Eva Birthistle), a committed socialist, is determined to rescue the memory of her father from the fate her stepmother has planned: using his ashes to make a golf trophy. In tribute to her father's glamorous past as a revolutionary who once visited Cuba, she steals the ashes and heads to the Caribbean island in the company of her more materialistic sister Ailie (Charity Wakefield) and their friend Conway (Bryan Dick). They come face-to-face with both the good and bad of the island in the form of conman Ernesto (Christopher Simpson) and protective tour guide Tomas (Carlos Acosta). How will the experience change them?

Two young, strong-willed Scottish sisters, one a left-wing activist, the other a born-to-shop fashionista, take their late father's ashes to Cuba, the site of many intriguing family legends. Arriving in Havana, the two women promptly lose the ashes and go through a series of misadventures - both romantic and dangerous - to try to retrieve them, making some surprising discoveries along the way about the family ties that hold them together.

Two Scottish sisters, one a left-wing activist, the other a popular party girl, travel to Cuba to scatter their late father's ashes. In losing and trying to reclaim their father's ashes, the bickering sisters set off on a journey that them takes them through romance, danger, and the discovery of old family secrets.
