Synopsis:

Le Week-End is a beautifully observed, funny and poignant story about the nature of love and commitment where husband and wife yearn to recapture their youthful fearlessness, lack of responsibility and idealism. Meg and Nick (Jim Broadbent and Lindsay Duncan), revisit Paris on their anniversary to revitalise their marriage and run into an old friend (Jeff Goldblum) who gives them a new outlook on life and love. Le Week-End marks the latest collaboration between Roger Michell and his - long-standing partners, writer Hanif Kureishi and producer Kevin Loader - the trio also worked on Venus, The Mother and TV's The Buddha of Suburbia.

Le Week-End is a beautifully observed and poignant story of a long-married British couple (Jim Broadbent and Lindsay Duncan) who return to Paris for the first time since their honeymoon to revitalize their marriage. While there, they run into an old friend (Goldblum) who transforms their thoughts on life and their love for one another. Directed by Roger Michell (Notting Hill).
