Synopsis:
Still Life (2011)
An unexpected letter forces siblings Bernhard and Lydia to confront each other and to deal with their family history.
Outing (2012)
This sensitive long-term documentary portrays the timid archeology student Sven who is one of the first pedophiles to face the camera without a pixelated face and distorted voice to openly talk about his difficult struggle against his forbidden desires.

Still Life (2011)
A father pays prostitutes to play the role of his own daughter. The shocking revelation concerning his long-secret obsession tears up the family's delicate fabric. The son blames himself, and he resolves to find out whether his father ever acted on his fantasies, while his sister wants to sort out her memories on her own. Despite her uncertainties, their mother's reaction leaves no question as to what she thinks. The father ultimately has to find a way of coping with his shame and feelings of guilt.
Outing (2012)
Sven is a goofy, floppy haired 26-year-old student. He is also a paedophile. The eternally unbreakable taboo is brought under the microscope in this confronting and controversial documentary as, incredibly, Sven 'outs' himself to the audience. Having realised at the age of fifteen that he was attracted to children, Sven is firm in maintaining that he will never act on his desires. Over four years of filming Sven attempts to remain steadfast, seeking professional help yet also testing his selfimposed boundaries. Outing raises uncomfortable questions about where the line is drawn in acting on such forbidden desires, while shedding light on this morally unacceptable yet clearly existent problem.
