Synopsis:

Kim Shay is a widow struggling to help her young daughter, Sara, overcome a recurring nightmare of a man coming to kill her. But after visiting a physiologist, Kim isn't so sure her daughter is just dreaming. Under hypnosis, Sara insists that the man convicted of killing both her father and Penny Romig - the mysterious woman who fills her dreams - was innocent of the crime. Kim embarks on a dangerous investigation that uncovers a tangled web of police corruption, hidden evidence, and a deadly cover up. Bent on justice, Kim will put everything on the line to protect her daughter and stop a killer before it's too late.

Police detective Christopher Shay was shot during the Penny Romig murder investigation years ago. His then partner, Matt Carson, ends up confessing he was blackmailed with his own alcohol abuse by plausibly dirty police captain Murphy, after Chris's young daughter Sara convinces her mother Kim she somehow incarnates Peggy's memory. The only hope to get to the crucial autopsy reports is coroner Dr. Marquette's office. An elaborate cover-up proves dangerous for all.

When her daughter's nightmares are revealed to be past life remembrances of a murdered woman, Kim embarks on a frightening journey and discovers the real cause of her husbands death, putting them both in danger.
