Synopsis:

Behind Closed Doors (Une Histoire Banale, France 2014) is precisely what its original French title describes - an ordinary story. Nathalie, a 30-year-old living in Paris, leads a simple and pleasant life. She gets along with her colleagues, often goes out with friends, and plans to move in with her loving fiancé. With a happy and prosperous future ahead of her, she could not ask for more in her small, quaint life. However, a night out with a co-worker changes Nathalie's life as she knows it, and she is forced to face a new self she did not know could exist.

Nathalie, 30 years old, is an ordinary woman of her age totally in love with her boyfriend. But her life will totally change when her co-worker rapes her after a party. Life is now a struggle where every detail is a fight to get back to a normal life. Through this 'ordinary' story, Natalie will turn into an example for all those women who had chosen to remain silent.

Une histoire banale is a 2014 French drama film written, produced and directed by Audrey Estrougo. It tells the story of Nathalie, an ordinary young woman who works in the health care industry. However her life takes an abrupt turn during an encounter with a co-worker on one fateful evening.
