Batman discovers a mysterious teen-aged girl with super-human powers and a connection to Superman. When the girl comes to the attention of Darkseid, the evil overlord of Apokolips, events take a decidedly dangerous turn.

When Lex Luthor gets elected US President, he uses the threat of an oncoming kryptonite meteor striking Earth as a rationale to frame Superman.

A monkey sent into outer space in an experimental space flight is bombarded by rays when a piece of kryptonite smashes against a nearby meteorite. This causes the monkey to grow into a large ape-monster causing destruction on earth and giving Superman a hard time with its kryptonite vision.
Wanted: The Superfriends (1978)
Lex Luthor creates a Dream Machine that causes the SuperFriends to steal the world's treasures overnight; Bizarro and Cheetah turn people around the world into Bizarros and Cheetahs.
Terror from the Phantom Zone (1978)
Lex Luthor takes the Legion of Doom into the past so that they can prevent Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern from coming into existence.
Super Friends The Krypton Syndrome/Invasion of the Space Dolls/Terror on the Titanic (1983)
When Superman accidentally returns to Krypton's past in 'The Krypton Syndrome.' Then, the Wonder Twins thwart the impending 'Invasion of the Space Dolls.' Lastly, 'Terror on the Titanic' occurs when the legendary ship is raised from the bottom of the sea.
Darkseid's Golden Trap Parts 1&2 (1984)
Despite the Super Friends' efforts to prevent it, Darkseid obtains a chunk of Gold Kryptonite that can permanently destroy Superman's powers.
The Seeds of Doom (1985)
When Darkseid threatens to ravage Earth with monster plants, Cyborg reluctantly agrees to help the Super Powers Team thwart the scheme.
The Death of Superman (1985)
Superman dies while he was visiting a planet and was exposed to a great amount of Kryptonite. Firestorm who was with him was unable to save him and freaks out and flies off. The rest of the team send Superman's body into the sun, they then head off to the Fortress of Solitude. Darkseid upon hearing of what happened wants to be sure Superman is gone so he captures Firestorm and makes tell him what happened to Superman, after learning what happened, Darkseid makes plan to invade Earth. He first captures the members of the team who are at the Hall of Justice. He then sets out to get the rest who are at the Fortress. While there they discover that Superman might not be dead so they need to retrieve his body. Firestorm who escaped from Darkseid joins them and they don't know if they can withstand the sun long enough to retrieve Superman.
For the Man Who Has Everything (2004)
Batman and Wonder Woman find Superman immobilized in the Fortress of Solitude by a plant sent by the would-be conqueror Mongul.
The Doomsday Sanction (2005)
The League assistance of an island suffering a volcanic eruption is complicated by Doomsday escaping his bonds and attacking Superman.
A Little Piece of Home (1996)
Lex Luthor learns that Superman is vulnerable to kryptonite and attempts to use it to kill Superman.
Speed Demons (1997)
Superman and The Flash compete in a charity running race around the world, but have to stop to deal with the Weather Wizard.
The Late Mr. Kent (1997)
Superman's effort to clear a condemned man's name is complicated when he survives a murder attempt as Kent that seems impossible to be seen surviving without jeopardizing his secret identity.
