Synopsis:

40-year-old Joe is as horrible as he is appealing... Joe is a property agent in top form who could sell a hovel for the price of a castle. However he's a total disaster when it comes to feelings, marriage, or being a father. He owns a large house in the middle of the countryside and detests, with all his heart, his elderly neighbor, Blanche. Her tumbledown hovel, her garden gone wilde, her herd of flea-ridden animals... they all fill Joe with hateful frustration. What's more, Blanche seems to be blessed with eternal life - and she detests her neighbor in return. At his wit's end, Joe decides to go down into the well that supplies his old neighbor with her water. But his rope ladder snaps. He finds himself alone, with a beer and a mobile phone, but no network. No one knows where he is. No one except for Blanche.

Joe, a real-estate broker, 40, is as charming as he is irritating. He is able to sell a small house for the price of a castle, but is a disaster when it comes to love. Owner of a large country house, he hates his elderly neighbour, her crumbling house, her unkempt garden, her large hoard of animals. All of these are obstacles for his great fantasy to build a golf course in his own back yard. Exasperated, Joe decides to go down to the source of his neighbour's well. Things will take an unexpected turn, and the old lady will be as bitter as ever.

Forty year old Joe is talented a property broker, but a complete catastrophe as a family man, father and husband, and with a neighbor he can't stand. One day he does something he never should have done.
