Synopsis:

While the press media industry grapples with dramatic changes brought about by blogs, twitter, and other internet revolutions, this documentary takes us on a journey into the world of political journalists working for the French newspaper Le Monde during the presidential election campaign in 2012. Following journalists in the field and behind their desks, we are given an insider's view of the great debates taking place behind the walls of this legendary French news machine. We witness the tensions and antagonisms within the editorial team and share journalists' excitement and fits of laughter, their fatigue and uncertainties-all part of the daily life of a daily newspaper. It is a portrait of a rapidly changing profession set within one of the world's most prestigious news organizations, which will soon celebrate its 70th anniversary.
