Synopsis:

The documentary starts from the sanctification of Pope Giovanni XXIII and Pope Giovanni Paolo II and tells the scenes on the figures of the two saints and popes of Pope Francesco I, with a stock image of three Popes enriched with new images of Pope Francesco I at the time of his election before it is presented to the whole world. A journey through exclusive places and partly unpublished Vatican.

This documentary brings a unique moment in history to the big screen, when Pope Francis, in the presence of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, proclaimed two of the twentieth-century's best-loved figures saints: Pope John XXIII and John Paul II. Through the words of well-known personalities like Dario Fo and Pupi Avati, the feature-length film goes 'backstage' at the big event and serves up an original portrait of the two canonized popes and the current Pontifex Maximus, treating viewers to exclusive peaks at Vatican locations.

Pope Francis became the first pontiff seen globally in 3D during the April 27, 2014 ceremony in St. Peter's Square when two of his predecessors, John Paul II and John XXIII, were canonised as saints.
