Synopsis:

The documentary aims to reconstruct Giuseppe Tornatore creative world by looking through his personality and eviscerating his work. The aim is to reveal what is not yet known or has not been said about him, thanks to witnesses of excellence, starting from Tornatore himself. The documentary is an intense portrait of one of the best known and loved Italian film maker all over the world through his testimony and the one of his closest collaborators with exclusive footage and clips of his films.

From Sicily to the Oscars, the film portrays the creative world of Giuseppe Tornatore, the acclaimed director of films including Cinema Paradiso (1988), The Legend of 1900 (1998) and Malena (2000); by investigating his personality and examining the depth of his works. For the first time, the director accompanies us to a journey that conveys the primary fascinations that distinguish his work - reality, dream, memory, the passion for films. Featuring interviews with Tim Roth, Ben Gazzara, Ennio Morriconne, Monica Belucci, Tonino Guerra, Harvey Weinstein and Geoffrey Rush.
