Synopsis:

Searching for the lost world of Atlantis, Prof. Aitken, his son Charles and Greg Collinson are betrayed by the crew of their expedition's ship, attracted by the fabulous treasures of Atlantis. The diving bell destroyed, a deep sea monster attacks the boat. They are all dragged to the bottom of the sea where they meet the inhabitants of the lost continent, an advance alien race makes slaves of the ship-wrecked sailors. The aliens want to rule the human world to create a nazi state. Due to his high IQ, they think that Charles may join them. Greg and the team will need the help of Delphine, the daughter of a slave, to escape the city surrounded by evil creatures...

In 1896, the aging Professor Aitken and his son Charles charter an expedition aboard the Texas Rose and descend into the depths in an experimental bathysphere designed by engineer Greg Collinson. Under the water, they are snatched by a giant octopus and dragged down to one of the five remaining of the seven sunken cities of Atlantis where they are made prisoner by the Atlanteans. While the others are thrown in with the slaves, including the crew of the Mary Celeste, the Atlanteans desire to recruit Charles's genius. They show him their many marvels of super-science. He learns that the Atlanteans in fact come from Mars and are using their superior mental abilities to influence the outcome of human history and bring out mankind's most warlike tendencies.

Victorian explorers (Doug McClure, Peter Gilmore) in a diving bell find the fabled city, a lost race and a giant octopus.
