Synopsis:

Alfie returns, up to his old womanizing ways, until he meets his match in a sophisticated magazine editor Abby. His pursuit is complicated by his encounter with Norma and the fact that a jealous husband won't let him forget about his time with his wife Fay.

Alfie determines to enjoy sex and not get involved, but after the mother of his natural son has married someone else and he has had to arrange an abortion, he is not so sure.

An English truck driver's (Alan Price) usual way with women does not work with a magazine editor (Jill Townsend).
