Synopsis:

On Christmas Eve a priceless diamond is stolen from the village church. A short while later, two children from discover the body of Father Christmas lying dead on the snow-covered mountain slope. With bad weather preventing the police's arrival, the villagers attempt to solve the mystery themselves.

The story concerns an old globe-maker who is mysteriously killed while going through the town portraying Pere Noel ('Father Christmas' aka Santa Claus).
