Synopsis:
No job is too absurd for Jacob: in a glitter suit with stick-on sideburns, he sings Elvis Presley songs for crooning old ladies-not exactly the musical Olympics, but he needs the money. Now Jacob has the job of transporting a valuable stud ram to Norway-by car, because the ram doesn't like flying. Just before he sets off, Jacob's long-forgotten lover Julia calls and announces the arrival of her-their-12-year-old daughter May. The stubborn teenager has taken it into her head to visit the father she has never met. So May has to come along to Norway too. However, with an angrily bleating ram in the back and an arrogant 'goat' in the passenger seat, Jacob has much more than he can cope with. The further the north their journey takes them, the more defiant May becomes-and the more annoyed Jacob.

In his late 30s, Jakob (Wotan Wilke Möhring) has a pretty good chance of ending up back at his parents': his chosen profession as Elvis imitator isn't making him rich, in fact quite the opposite... Then his 12-year old daughter Mai (of whose existence Jakob knows nothing) turns up out of the blue and wants to get to know her Dad. In reality, the spoilt brat just wants to get back at her mother (Julia Koschitz) and turns Jakob's already chaotic world upside down. Her timing is lousy too, as Jakob has just taken on a job driving a ram to Norway in a ramshackle old box van. Jakob has no choice but to take Mai with him... Thus begins a turbulent road trip for father and daughter, accompanied by a cranky, stinky, yet highly musical sheep.
