Synopsis:
Ed Wood Jr. has gone down in history as one of the most inept directors to have ever picked up a megaphone. However his films are better known to a wide audience than many of the world's most respected directors. Included here are his two best known films 'Plan 9 From Outer Space' and 'Glen or Glenda', along with four lesser known but equally entertaining features - 'Night Of The Ghouls', 'Bride Of The Monster', 'Jailbait' and his little known western, 'Crossroad Avenger'. First box set release of the Woods feature films in Australia. Crossroad Avenger never been released in Australia before. Includes a 12 page booklet telling the story of Wood and his films. Glen or Glenda (1953)
A psychiatrist tells two stories: one of a transvestite (Glen or Glenda), the other of a pseudohermaphrodite (Alan or Anne).
Crossroad Avenger (1953)
This Pilot was about the Adventures of the 'Tucson Kid', an insurance investigator who travels to any town where a suspicious insurance claim has appeared.
Jail Bait (1954)
Vic Brady draws young Don Gregor into a life of crime. He then blackmails Gregor's plastic surgeon father into fixing up his face so he can evade the cops.
Bride of the Monster (1955)
A mad doctor attempts to create atomic supermen.
Plan 9 from Outer Space (1959)
Aliens resurrect dead humans as zombies and vampires to stop humanity from creating the Solaranite (a sort of sun-driven bomb).
