Synopsis:
Arch Hall Jr. appeared in 6 films. Of those 6 films, 4 have gone down as cult masterpieces. Wild Guitar, The Choppers, Eegah and The Sadist. Hall would end his acting career in 1965. Hall's favorite film of his short career is The Sadist (1963) The film tells the story of a homicidal maniac and his girlfriend who go on a killing spree across America. The story is based on Charles Starkweather and his girlfriend Caril Ann Fugate. This film would predate the lauded film Badlands by ten years and it would be another 20 years before the same story was told in Natural Born Killers. The set concludes with Halls last two films The Nasty Rabbit and Deadwood '76.

2. DEADWOOD '76 (1965)

The Choppers (1961)
A gang of teenage delinquents terrorize a small community by stealing cars and stripping them for parts, then selling the parts to a crooked junkyard owner. The police and an insurance company investigator set out to break up the gang.
Wild Guitar (1962)
A young Arch Hall, Jr. is given a shot at the big time by the unscrupulous owner of a small record company played by Arch Hall, Sr. (aka William Watters).
Eegah (1962)
Teenagers stumble across a prehistoric caveman, who goes on a rampage.
The Sadist (1963)
Three people driving into Los Angeles for a Dodgers game have car trouble and pull off into an old wrecking yard where they are held at bay by a bloodthirsty psycho and his crazy girlfriend.
The Nasty Rabbit (1964)
Russian spies secretly infect rabbits with a deadly bacteria, then let them loose in the U.S.
Deadwood '76 (1965)
A young drifter is mistaken for Billy the Kid. The consequences prove deadly.

Arch Hall Jr. only made six films before retiring from the screen in 1956. To cult film enthusiasts at least four of those films are highlights of the genre. Wild Guitar was one of the first Rock films to recognize the danger of being ripped off by ruthless management. Eegah is a classic schlock cave man epic; The Choppers is a tragic story of car crazy kids gone wrong, and best of all is The Sadist, a classic serial killer film made way before Badlands or Natural Born Killers were even thought of.
